It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved pastor, Dr. Jim Barnette. We extend our deepest sympathies to Deanna, Hannah, Nicholas, Ethan, and Evie.
Due to Covid, the family will be holding a private family ceremony in the coming days. At a later date, a larger memorial service will be held. Details to come.
In lieu of flowers, the Barnette family asks that donations be made to the Dr. James Barnette Endowed Scholarship at Samford University or to Brookwood Baptist Church’s mission fund.
