Sunday, November 22, 2020
This year we will continue our tradition of Thanksgatherings but in a slightly different way. On Sunday, November 22nd we will meet in person (in the sanctuary) and online (via Zoom) at 5:00 pm. If you participated in the Called Business meeting after the worship service on Sunday, November 8, you have a sense of how this will work. From within the Zoom meeting, the service portion will be live-streamed, then we’ll have an opportunity for a small-group experience. (Note: For speaker only view click the words "Speaker View" at the top of the screen)
We will offer a short service of gratitude and thanks that will include Scripture, song, and communion. For those participating via Zoom, you will need to have communion elements (bread & cup) prepared ahead of time so you may participate in the Lord’s supper. This will be followed up with “break out groups” for those on Zoom, each lead by a host, to offer a small group experience in which people may share what they are grateful for in this difficult season we are all journeying through. There will also be a corresponding time of group sharing in the sanctuary.
