Mason Freeman

Minister to Children & Their Families

Mason is a proud Birmingham native, growing up in the Bluff Park community. His passion for ministry began in 7th grade when he felt the call to serve others and share the love of Christ. This calling led him to pursue a degree from Union University in Jackson, TN, where he graduated in 2013.

During his college years, Mason had the incredible opportunity to serve at WinShape Camps, traveling across the country to impact kids with the message of Jesus and strengthen the connection between local churches and their communities. His heart is to partner with parents and caregivers to help children not only begin a relationship with Christ but to also nurture and grow that relationship over time.

Mason is married to his wife, Beth, who is an Enrichment teacher at Crestline Elementary School. Together, they have two energetic and joy-filled boys, Micah and Matthew. Mason is deeply committed to creating a welcoming environment where children can experience the love of God in real, meaningful ways. Mason is currently pursuing a graduate degree in counseling to be a better resource for the families he ministers to.

Above all, Mason believes that ministry is about building lasting relationships—whether with kids, parents, or the wider church family—and seeing lives transformed by the grace of Christ.
