Living Hope at Christmas: Day 5

17Dec

Hello America, welcome to another day of the blog!

This morning (Sunday) a small group got up to run and another small group went on a walk to get coffee. We then all met back at Sacred Mountain for breakfast and our devotional time. Then we met Austin, Kelsey, and Audrey at the church King of Kings for a wonderful service! It was really amazing to see such a variety of people coming together to worship the Lord! Megan had an extra special moment during the service when Audrey ran into her arms.

We then said our goodbyes to the Keim’s and drove to Hout Bay and went to the Bay Harbor Market. We spent a lot of time there and had a fantastic lunch and great time shopping at the different tables (Caroline had doubts that the boys couldn’t eat the entire pizza they each ordered…. She was proven wrong). After wrapping up our time at the market we headed to Table Mountain.
We waited in a line for about an hour to get on the gondola up to the top. The top of Table Mountain (TableTop Mountain as Louis has claimed it to be) provided views that were simply amazing. The Lord’s creation is so beautiful and it was amazing to be able to admire it from the top of Table Mountain.

After a while on the mountain we headed back to Sacred Mountain for dinner and devotion. We are all super excited to start Holiday Club tomorrow and get to see the kids! We all love and miss y’all!
