It’s been two years since our youth were last in Cape Town and we are excited to be back. We know God has been doing great work these past two years and we are excited to join that story. There is so much that I love about this trip. It’s one of the most naturally beautiful places in the world. That beauty extends beyond the natural world and is evident in the people we have the privilege to meet. There’s something about serving Jesus alongside people that strengthens the bonds of friendship like nothing else can. I also love watching our students respond to encountering God in a new context, through new experiences, with new questions.
There are several ways you can join us in praying these next two weeks. 1) Out of the gate, please pray for smooth travel to, from, and in South Africa. 2) Please pray for the friends we get to serve alongside in Cape Town. 3) Please pray for the relationships in our group. Pray that their bonds would be strengthened. 4) Pray that God uses these experiences to expand our students’ imaginations for where God is calling them in their lives. 5) Pray that the Spirit would lead us in ways we don’t even know to pray yet.
